According to the provincial dashboard, there are 42 new cases of COVID-19 in the province.

Of the cases announced today, Manitoba reports 29 are from unvaccinated individuals, four from partially vaccinated individuals and nine from fully vaccinated people. 

Public Health officials also report that of today’s cases:

  • Four are in the Prairie Mountain Health region
  • Two are in the Interlake-Eastern Health region
  • Three are in the Northern Health region
  • 17 are in the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region
  • 16 are in the Winnipeg Health region

Dauphin has one new recovery to report today, bringing the total number of active cases in the city to seven.

The numbers of active cases in other Parkland health districts are:

Riding Mountain (0), Swan River (2), Duck Mountain (5), Porcupine Mountain (1), Agassiz Mountain (7), Asessippi (7), Little Saskatchewan (1), Whitemud (2). Brandon has 41 active cases.

In the Interlake, the Eriksdale/Ashern health district has three active cases. The Fisher/Peguis district has two active cases.

The current five-day test positivity rate is 2.8 percent provincially. 1,921 laboratory tests were completed yesterday.

There are 613 active COVID-19 cases in the province.

45 Manitobans are hospitalized with active COVID-19.

13 Manitobans are in intensive care units with active COVID-19.
