Now available on local store shelves, is Hemp Sense’s Hemp Nut.
Produced in Gilbert Plains, the new product will be available to sample at the Dauphin Consumer’s Co-op on Friday.
Vice President, Canda Chafe, explains what Hemp Nut can be used in.
“You can use it for basically anything,” noted Chafe. “You can use it for salads, cereals. You can bake with it and put it in your buns and cookies. You can put it in casseroles and stir frys. You can basically use it for any type of grain you use in different foods, you can use the Hemp Nut.”
Hemp Sense is working on releasing their next new product next year, which is a hemp based cat litter.
