A home in Brandon is destroyed after an evening fire in the 1000 block of 6th Street last night.
Brandon Fire and Emergency Services arrived on the scene just after 5 and remained on the scene until 9 to put out the blaze.
According to Captain Wade Ritchie, nobody was injured, but the house is a write off with 225 thousand dollars in damages.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and considered to be suspicious.
