When it comes to tax money from the legalized sale of marijuana, the federal government is willing to give provinces and territories a bigger share of the revenue.
The extra money is slotted to help municipalities deal with the impact of legalizing recreational pot.
It has been estimated that over $1 billion dollars will be raised in the form of a tax from sales once it becomes legalized.
Although Finance Minister Bill Morneau has expressed a willingness to do this, there has been no indication of what the breakdown ratio will be.
