Manitoba Hydro is interrupting electrical service to around 1400 customers between the communities of Rossburn and Silverton this evening.
Those who live in the towns and surrounding areas of Rossburn, Waywayseecappo, Angusville, Birdtail, and Silverton are affected by this emergency outage. Power is expected to return around 10:30 tonight. This outage is required allow Manitoba Hydro crews the ability to replace a broken pole carrying wires supplying substations in the affected areas. The pole had been broken earlier today when a vehicle struck it.
