Manitobans are being asked to give some feedback to the provincial government on some very important issues moving into the 2018 budget.
An online survey focused on three key areas of concern can be found at www DOT manitobansmakingchoices DOT ca.
Local MLA Brad Michaleski talks about how the survey is an opportunity for the public to voice their opinion.
"This is the second year we’ve done it. Last year we did it, Minister Friesen actually was in Dauphin and we held a small one in Roblin last year. And this year we are doing it again. Minster Friesen will be here today, tonight at the Rec Complex at 7:30. And I’ll be doing one on my own in Ste. Rose this year, trying to spread that out across the constituency."
Along with the survey, people can attend the pre-budget consultations. Michaleski is hosting his pre-budget consultation on Thursday at the Ste. Rose Curling Rink Lounge at 7:00 in the evening. Finance Minister, Cameron Friesen, is hosting a pre-budget consultation on tonight at the Lions Den in the Parkland Regional Complex starting at 7:30 in the evening. The public is welcome to attend.
