To kick off Culture Days in Dauphin, the unveiling of the newest statute was held this morning.
The statue honouring Colonel Lieutenant Barker has been placed in CN Park.
Charlie Johnson, the sculptor of the statue talks about his work.
“It was an honour and a priviledge to be tasked with the goal of becoming the voice for Billy Barker and for the community of Dauphin and perhaps someone who may very well be Dauphin’s greatest hero,” noted Johnson.
Culture Days continues this week with Yardfringe happening tomorrow.
