A woman who left her child in a stroller unattended on a street in Brandon on August 31, is now facing charges.
The girl was found by a man who found her crying outside his house.
It is believed the child had been abandoned for several hours before being found and later on that day, the mother called to report the girl missing.
The woman is facing charges of abandoning a child and failing to provide the necessaries of life while police are still looking for another suspect.
