Road closures are in effect today in Dauphin.
The intersection of 4th Avenue SW & 2nd Street SW (the 4 way stop) will be closed today at 8:00 this morning to approximately 1:00 in the afternoon for milling in preparation for repaving.
2nd Street SW from 4th Avenue SW to Jackson Street will be closed in sections as milling operations move from north to south. Beginning this afternoon and continuing until 2nd St SW is all milled, which will likely be Wednesday or Thursday.
The city asks residents to drive with caution around equipment and workers and be prepared to detour.
