Nominations are now open for Manitoba’s outstanding young farmer 2018 awards.
The Outstanding Young Farmers Program is asking for nominees to be entered who are worthy of recognition. Angela Fox the regional administrator for Manitoba Outstanding Young Farmers, talks about the program.
“The Manitoba Outstanding Young Farmers Program is set up so we can recognize an individual or couple that work in agriculture and is doing what they can to maintain the environment, be a part of their community, and basically this award recognizes for their contributions that they’ve made.”
People have until October 1st to nominate someone or a couple for the 2018 awards. To find the nomination forms go to http://www.oyfmanitoba.ca/nominations.html.
