Starting at five this afternoon the McCreary Fair and Pony and Chariot and Chuckwagon Races begin.
The weekend is packed with fun for the whole family including a small animal display, 50/50 draw, kids pony rides, 4H and Light Horse Activities, kids carnival fun and games, a Kids lotto sand pile, and parade. There is also a pancake breakfast to start tomorrow off right. Doris Fletcher from the McCreary Ag society talks about what she likes the most about the fair taking place this weekend.
“I love to see the kids having fun and I like to see the agriculture traditions carried on and I like to see good times and memories and people coming together and enjoying themselves.”
It costs 10 dollars a day. But being Canada’s 150th anniversary the first 150 people through the gate tonight will only have to pay 10 dollars for the whole weekend.
