Starting on August 18th the Wasagaming Art Gallery will showcase portraits from the 150 Faces of Canada project.
Curator for Wasagaming Community Arts, Tye Dandridge-Evancio, talks about what this project is.
"Paint or draw or make a portrait however they like with the statement 'I am' followed by whatever description they want. They can use their name or something that strives them or something they aspire to be, anything at all. What we are hoping to do is fill our gallery from floor to ceiling with all the portraits we have."
The deadline to create your own "150 Faces of Canada" portrait is August 15th.
