The Dauphin Firefighter's Association is holding two fundraisers.
The 50/ 50 fundraiser, to be drawn on September 9th, is currently selling tickets. Planning is also underway for the Firefighters ball. Erin Deederly vice president of the fire fighters association talks about where money raised from the 2 fundraisers will be going.
“There is no specific initiative; rather the funds will go to various projects that the firefighter’s association takes on. In the past the association has used these funds to purchase new hydraulic tools for vehicle extrication, the water rescue boat, also the 3 bay shed that is constructed at the rear of the property that houses the antique fire truck.”
Tickets can be picked up at the fire department for the 50 /50 fundraiser. Each ticket costs 5 dollars.
