A 29 year old woman is facing charges after her vehicle rolled into a ditch near Portage La Prairie.
On Friday night at around 11:30, Portage RCMP responded to a call about a vehicle laying upside down in a ditch filled with water.
Officers were able to rescue an infant that was strapped in his car seat and took the 1 year old to hospital afterwards. A pair of female infants were also in the vehicle and suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, who is not being named at this time to protect the identity of the children, is facing 4 charges including Driving while Disqualified and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
RCMP are still investigating.
