Dauphin's MLA feels reviewing the community's potential MRI machine is the responsible decision.
Originally scheduled to be up and running this month at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, the MRI machine is currently being reviewed by the Manitoba Progressive Conservatives.
Dauphin MLA Brad Michaleski feels the review is the right one to make.
"The MRI is under review, six weeks ago I made a statement to that regard [...] there's hundreds of projects that have been put on hold -- put under review -- by our current government and it's the responsible thing to do, the previous government has left us in an incredible mess to clean up and they've made tones and tones of promises of projects that there is no way they could possibly afford."
Michaleski feels the situation has been blown out of proportion over social media, and that no where was it said that the MRI was not coming to Dauphin.
