Rain and snow won't stop Dauphin's Fire Department from taking part in an annual event.
The Firefighters Rooftop Campout begins today, taking residence on the roof of the Dauphin Marketplace mall until Sunday afternoon.
Lieutenant Cody Langlois is pleased that this event will continue to support a great cause.
"We're raising funds for muscular muscular dystrophy which all the funds stay within Manitoba and go to the families affected by it [...] it's a unique cause and the firefighters have the ability."
Everyone is welcomed to support the Firefighters throughout the weekend, and are encouraged to donate as well.
