A number of Dauphin cultural groups came together in song and dance over the weekend.
An afternoon celebration of diversity known as Tapestry was hosted at the 8th Avenue Hall on Saturday presented by the Dauphin Friendship Centre, Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation, the City of Dauphin and Parkland Settlement Services.
For DFC Executive Director Jeremy Smith the event displayed Dauphin's growing and diverse cultural community well.
"I think that our friend gives everyone in our community the chance to explore different cultures, Dauphin is growing we are seeing new people move here and it's always great to accept people for their differences and make them feel welcome in our community."
