Winnipegosis Collegiate appears to be in good hands with their new Principal.
Erik Persson took over as Principal in September, and made a presentation to the board of trustee at last nights meeting.
Persson outlined a number of new initatives at the school, such as the school's late bus program.
CEO Donna Davidson says the board is encouraged to see more excitement brought into the school division.
"We are very pleased to have Mr. Persson join our team, and his excitement and his desire to support student learning. He is very passionate about supporting students, and he is passionate about providing students opportunities for students to be successful."
Winnipegosis Collegiate also held a fish fry in the fall, run by the students, where they cleaned a filleted the fish themselves.
