Canadians across the country have come together to celebrate the business of agriculture.
Yesterday, the country celebrated its inaugural Canadian Agriculture Day, with a number of events and activities planned across the provinces.
Dauphin's Co-op challenged all the local grade three and four classes to create a project to show how much they know about local agriculture.
According to Marketing Manager Joan Chetyrbok, two classes went above and beyond.
"At the Ste. Rose School, Krystal Paradis' and Susie Wilkensen's grade three and four classes put together a wonderful song, all about agriculture. And Regan Lemieux's grade three class at Ecole Macneil made a wonderful mural, which is actually on display at our food store right now."
