There is a risk of moderate to major overland flooding across Manitoba this spring, according to a recent report released by the provincial government.
Provincial Cereal Crop Specialist with Manitoba Agriculture Pam Pam De Rocquigny says it's probably too early to guess how this will impact seeding operations for producers.
"Soil moisture levels and of course that timing and length of that spring melt are some of the biggest factors or influences on when producers are able to start seeding."
