Hundreds of Winnipeggers gathered at The Forks to walk around the Human Rights Museum in support of diversity and inclusion.

The walk was organized by Winnipeg mayor Brian Bowman, who says the city needs to show compassion now more than ever.

After six people were killed at a Quebec City mosque, Bowman says he felt the urge to hold the walk.

The museum opened its doors for free to those in attendance.
