It's back to the House of Commons for Canada's federal politicians.
Robert Sopuck spoke to CKDM from Ottawa earlier this afternoon.
He says the Conservatives focus will be on the economy and concerns over trade with the US.
"The high deficit spending and our strong concerns about trade with the US. It's very important that our trade be maintained with the US, and it's vital that the Liberal government do what it can to ensure Canada's interests are protected."
Justin Trudeau made a statement in the House today condemning the deadly attack on a mosque in Quebec City, saying Canadians will meet fear and hatred with love and compassion.
