Beer from a Belgian monastery will be auctioned off in Winnipeg for charity.
Trevor Lehmann was in Belgium for vacation and says he went on a bit of a beer pilgrimage. While there, he had a thought to hold a charity for Winnipeg Harvest.
"You kind of get a little reflective when you're enjoying these high luxury things, and you think that there's a lot of people struggling to make ends meat. So we thought, it would be a neat idea, to ship some of these back to Winnipeg, and then raffle them off to charity for the Winnipeg Harvest, and we're going to call it the Olive Grain Harvest."
The event is taking place at Barley Brothers Pembina on January 29th.
