After asking residents who were interested in phase two of their water pipeline, the RM of Dauphin has fewer responses than they anticipated.
Reeve Dennis Forbes says he expects more public interest once the RM knows if they've secured funding.
"I've got my fingers crossed that that funding will come through for this next run."
The RM expects to hear back about two funding applications soon: one that would see an even split between the federal government, province, and RM, and one that would see 50 per cent federal funding, 25 per cent provincial, and 25 per cent RM.
