With 2016 nearly in the books, it's been a busy year for the Dauphin Rec Complex.
The DRC had a number of successful programs run throughout the year.
Program Coordinator Lindsey Kyle credits one group for being a big part of their successful 2016.
"Vermillion Park is a huge asset for us, it's always busy. There's people camping there, there's people walking, there's kids at the splash park, and people now enjoying the trails by snowshoeing. And of course, we topped it off last month, with the new bridge being installed there, which was a pretty big thing for us."
The DRC is also hoping to re-open their community pool, with the new water slide, in mid-January.
