A local Dauphin family is re-defining what it means to have a blue Christmas.
Ernest and Elizabeth Sanderson moved to the community back in 2012, and every year have added more decorations to their home during Christmas.
According to Elizabeth one specific colour really connects with her family during this time of year.
"We're a little different, we have blue lights all year round and the reason being is that it brings peace and tranquility to our little piece of world here and we like the colour blue... so, we have blue lights up every year but around Christmas time we add to them."
You can see the Sanderson's display at the corner of 2nd St. SW and 1st Ave. SW beside the railway tracks.
