Richardson International donated $1.45 million dollars to 72 community projects in 2016, and among them are a couple Parkland initiatives.
Director of corporate communications Tracey Shelton says the Swan River Splash Park committee received 10,000 dollars and Grandview's Watson Crossley Museum was given 25,000.
"The Swan River was actually to build a splash park, and the Watson was to create more space in the museum to add an addition because they are running out of space."
President and CEO of Richardson International Curt Vossen says in a news release investing in communities is an important part of their business, not only as a company, but as a good neighbour.
