Bob Washington, the man who was the voice of the K-Tel commercials, has passed away.
Throughout Washington's career on the radio, he spent time in Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Montreal and eventually Winnipeg, where he gain international fame through his sales of K-Tel records.
Washington who was born in Wadena, Saskatchewan in 1934, lost his battle to cancer last Saturday.
He and his wife, Linda, had been living in Vancouver since 2005. Bob Washington was 82.
