Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada are looking at new ways in getting more volunteers involved across the country.
Citizen Science, also known as crowd-source science, is a research conducted by amateur scientist to help scientifc research for a specific area.
Agroclimate Specialist Trevor Hadwen with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada feels the country's climate is closely linked with agriculture.
"Citizen Science is a way for the general public to get involved with some of the science projects that people do around the world... In Canada we have a large land mass and we're trying to understand better how climate and weather affect agriculture throughout the country."
