Four paramedics from Prairie Mountain Health are recipients of the Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal.
The medal recognizes pre-hospital emergency professionals who have performed their duties in an exemplary manner for at least 20 years.
Barb Cameron and Chris Dobson of Killarney, Dwayne Campbell of Hamiota, and Jim Duthie of Rivers were each given a medal by the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba.
Administrative Director-Paramedic Association of Manitoba, Eric Glass says to be an award recipient one must have completed 20 years of exemplary service with emergency medical services, including at least 10 years in the performance of duties involving potential risk.
