Two Dauphin institutions are collaborating to better serve the needs of their clientele.
DRCSS Principal Norman Casavant says the high school is working together with the Dauphin Friendship Centre on things like cultural awareness, healthy relationships, and international students.
Casavant said on Friday they started meeting together three weeks ago.
"If Dauphin Friendship Centre is working on healthy relationships and doing it from a different way than we're doing it, it doesn't make a lot of sense...(so) it might look like us working at the Dauphin Friendship Centre sometimes in the evenings, doing presentations on healthy relationships, or they may have speakers coming in and instead of doing (speeches) only there-- you know, they have the audience of our students-- we would do it in collaboration with them in our school."
Casavant says it's information sharing but it's also professional development sharing as well.
Casavant says they are meeting this week to begin talking about action plans.
