As colder temperatures quickly approach, you may be craving chili more than usual.
This Wednesday, the Parkland Mental Health Committee will be hosting the 7th Annual Chili Cook-off at the Dauphin Friendship Centre.
Outreach Manager for the Mood Disorders Association in the Parkland Region, Eleanor Snitka hopes the event inspires other organizations to get involved socially.
"It's a time where we encourage organizations or workplaces to get together and do something together, we really believe in people having a great team work... it's fun and provides some friendly competition, it's a great evening."
The Chili Cook-off runs from 6 pm to 8 pm, and admission is $2 dollars.
