Manitoba RCMP said a search warrant they executed in Swan River on Monday, was in relation to an incident that occurred in the RM of Swan Valley West on September 18th.
RCMP say two males aged 19 and 20, were assaulted and were transported to hospital with serious injuries.
On Monday, the RCMP Emergency Response Team, RCMP Major Crime Unit and Swan River RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Swan River, allegedly related to a firearm.
51-year-old, Marvin David Flett of Swan River was arrested and is remanded in custody.
Police say the investigation is currently active and ongoing.
