Natural Resources Canada is reporting an earthquake this morning in Yorkton.
Officials confirm there was a small earthquake southeast of Yorkton, at around 4:40 am CST.
The earthquake was listed as a magnitude 3.8, about 10 kilometers in depth.
However, earthquakes are not new to the region. The last earthquake recorded higher than a 3.0, was a 3.1 magnitude on February 17th 2014.
To date, Natural Resources Canada has recorded 11 earthquakes in the Yorkton area since 1981.
No damages have been reported.
