More agriculture fairs will be happening this weekend in the Parkland.
The community of Roblin is hosting its annual ag fair beginning tomorrow with the Rumble In Roblin Show and Shine.
President of the Roblin Ag Society Heath Butler says this year the fair will be introducing a number of new events, and one particular is receiving a lot of attention.
"Ranch rodeo's our biggest new addition to the fair this year... We're trying to introduce ranch rodeo to the community. We'll have four different teams of working cowboys that'll come and they're going to go through some events that are supposed to mimic some things that could happen on a ranch."
Butler says not only is the fair there as entertainment, it also provides an opportunity to teach kids about the farm lifestyle. He says he feels they are obligated as an organization to teach children about agricultural practices within the area.
Kelwood will also be hosting its ag fair on Saturday. The McCreary Ag Society's Fair, Pony Chariot and Chuckwagon event runs next weekend.
