People in Dauphin will soon have an extra chance to give blood.
Canadian Blood Services had a blood donor clinic not too long ago, but to help keep up with the summer collections they are having one on Monday.
Territory Manager with Canadian Blood Services, Darrin Desmedt says in May they forecast that they needed 200,000 donations nationally, but right now they are sitting at 165,000 nationally.
"So Dauphin is playing a big role in that because I just took a look at how we are booked for that clinic on June 20th and we are one hundred percent booked."
The clinic will be held at the St. Viators Church.
They'll be back in Dauphin the weekend of August 22 and 23.
