A southern Manitoba man has been charged in connection to the impaired driving of a school bus.
Around 9 pm yesterday, Carman RCMP say the man in La Riviere pulled the bus over to the wrong side of the road, then tried to back up into the police car on two occasions.
The officer was able to avoid both attempts.
35 year old Joshua Pharaoh of La Riviere has been charged with impaired driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and assault on a police officer with a weapon.
Pharaoh was the lone occupant of the bus.
Pharaoh remains in custody, and it set to appear in court in Portage la Prairie May 30.
