Several charges have been laid after Winnipegosis RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Frontier Street in Duck Bay.
On January 20, officers entered the home and arrested three suspects, a 38-year-old female from Duck Bay, a 24-year-old female from Camperville and a 39-year-old male from Pine Creek First Nation.
Officers seized a small quantity of cocaine, other illicit pills, cash, numerous firearms, weapons and other drug-related paraphernalia. The 24-year-old was released and will appear in court at a later date on drug and weapons-related charges.
Jason Flatfoot, 39, and Thomasina Chartrand, 38, were charged with numerous offences including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Firearm when Unauthorized and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purposes
Chartrand was released and will appear in a courtroom at a later date while Flatfoot remains in custody.
