Dauphin's Communities in Bloom has an idea that could have Vermillion Park fluttering with butterflies.
Patti Eilers, chairperson for Communities in Bloom, says they want to plant a big flower bed with the right flowers to attract all sort of butterflies, especially Monarchs.
Eilers says they are just in the planning stages right now but she hopes it will be established by next year.
"It's very important that we prepare this garden bed properly so we don't have to worry about infestation of weeds and probably other pests."
Eiler says they have applied for some grants to help out.
