Grandview is the latest Parkland municipality to issue burning restrictions.
A town official says within Grandview's boundaries, there is to be no burning within five kilometres of the Duck and Riding Mountain parks. Anyone else considering any burning in Grandview needs to contact the municipal office.
Roblin, Ethelbert, and the RMs of Lakeshore and Mossey River have also recently issued fire bans.
Due to dry conditions and increasing winds, the province has issued open fire bans for eastern and central Manitoba, and parts of western Manitoba.
