In addition to areas laid out by the province, another Parkland municipality has issued a fire ban of its own.
Roblin says effective immediately all burning permits are cancelled and no new ones will be issued until the ban is lifted.
Yesterday, the RM of Lakeshore and the RM of Mossey River issued fire bans.
Due to the dry conditions and increasing winds, the province has also issued open fire bans for eastern and central Manitoba, as well as parts of western Manitoba.
