Due to extremely dry conditions, the RM of Lakeshore has implemented a fire ban effective immediately.
No open fires will be permitted and all fire permits are suspended.
The Dauphin Fire Department's Facebook page says they responded to two grass fires on Saturday caused by changing winds.
According to their post, speedy calls for assistance from land owners allowed them to put the fires out quickly.
