In a Facebook post, Derek Nepinak announced that Minegoziibe Anishinabe School will be closed this upcoming week, October 21-25.
The closure is due to a very sad situation with the health of school Principal, Mrs. Cynthia Nepinak. Updates are expected to be provided in the coming days.
Council will also be arranging for grief counsellors that will be visiting the community in the coming days. Children are asked to remain at home with their families.
