A Grandview man is in hospital after being hit by a vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway near Portage.
Police say a man and a friend were arguing on the shoulder of the road, which escalated into a chase.
A 32-year-old man from Grandview was hit by a passing motorist moments after police received a call from a different driver saying they had to serve to miss a person dressed all in black.
No charges are pending against the driver.
The Grandview man is listed as being in stable condition with injuries to his head and leg.
