The RM of Dauphin's new public works foreman has plenty of experience, having moved up from the assistant foreman position.
Ryan Jenkins has worked with the RM for 25 years, and Reeve Dennis Forbes says he has a complete understanding of the RM.
"Three or four years ago he was given the position of assistant foreman... for succession. I mean, (so) when our foreman retired we would have someone to step forward, and (that) is the case. Council and myself are very comfortable with Ryan taking control."
Jenkins first task will be to fill the vacancy now in the assistant foreman position.
