Mountain View School Division is continuing its search for a new Superintendent after Stephen Jaddock departed earlier this year.
Gabe Mercier, MVSD Board Chair, says MVSD is accepting applications though their online portals, or by mail.
"We do have a date. We're expecting people to submit their applications by October 1st, by 4 pm on Tuesday, October the 1st. We're hoping to have this new superintendent CEO in place by January 1st, 2025."
Mercier is looking forward to a strong, and productive school year.
"The teachers are the ones who do a lot of work in education, and what happens in the classroom is the most important thing. The kids can look forward to an excellent school year where the teachers will be there to assist them, where we believe in parental involvement as well, we're hoping the parent will be involved in the student's education, and we're looking forward to a succesful year."
