Anxiety is something that many people across the world deal with daily.
Scott McFadyen, Executive director Of the Anxiety Disorders Association Of Manitoba, wants to discuss it openly on Monday.
"June the 10th is an annual awareness day to bring awareness to things you can do to reduce anxiety. Here at the Anxiety Disorders Association Of Manitoba, that's literally our job."
McFadyen notes that 1 in 4 Manitobans struggle with anxiety at some point in their life.
He also says the first step to overcoming it, is self-reflection.
"That change needs to come from within a person. Once you've made that choice to make that change and live in the sunshine of not having anxiety rule your life, there's a lot of resources out there."
