It's crunch time for Manitoba's provincial candidates.
Progressive Conservative leader Brian Pallister made a stop at local candidate Brad Michaleski's office on Saturday, the day advance voting began.
Asked about some projects here in Dauphin, like the new MRI unit and new jail, Pallister says if elected, the PCs will honor the commitments of the previous government, but not their promises.
"Every Manitoban knows who's going to be paying for those promises: it'll be them with less money on the kitchen table to build the economy of the province and support their own family. So I like the projects here in Dauphin but the first thing is to make sure that we find out how deep the hole is we're inheriting from the NDP and get the province back on track."
Advance voting runs until April 16. The election is April 19.
