Students are putting their craft skills to the test in an effort to raise money to be given halfway across the world.
The Grandview School Social Action Group is a student run non-profit organization that is hosting a craft sale to help out agriculture in India.
Melanie Barnett, a member of the group, says that the group represents helping out anywhere as much as they can.
"We believe it's important to help out people on both a local and global level, and so we try to distribute the funds that we receive equally. So we try to help out our own community as well as others across the world."
The craft sale will take place in the high school gym in Grandview on April 30th.
