November 14th will mark the next court appearance for a Sandy Bay First Nation woman charged in connection with a death in that community.
26-year-old Fantasia Prince was charged with second-degree murder after Manitoba First Nations Police Service was called to a home on the reserve on June 29th after a report of an injured female.
When they arrived, police found the body of a 24-year-old woman.
The name of the deceased has never been released
Swan River armed robbery
The case of a Valentine's Day armed robbery in Swan River will return to court later this month.
RCMP in the community say a 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy claimed that a man wielding a hammer demanded money and items outside of a Swan River business, before fleeing the scene.
20-year-old Jefferson Cook and 39-year-old Loni Genaille were arrested in relation to the case.
They will be back in court next Wednesday, and remain in custody until then.
